The first British appearance this decade from arguably the world’s finest piano trio. “It's a rare luxury to hear music-making of such integrity and joy” says the American Record Guide of the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, and nearly 40 years after their debut at the White House, they’re still performing with their original line-up. Today they explore the heartland of the trio repertoire – youthful Beethoven, Brahms at his most ardent, and Shostakovich’s searing Second Trio.
